№ 01 — Approach
Each building begins with a long walk. We measure the ground, the trees, the prevailing wind. The plan is what remains after we have removed everything the site refuses.
Our architecture is quiet but not modest — slow plans, generous sections, deliberate apertures. We work in concrete, stone, lime plaster and solid wood, and we collaborate with a tight circle of engineers, landscape architects and master builders.
